Types of projects we produce with drones
  • How experienced are you in flying drones?
Professionally, our drone pilots have over five years of experience in drone videography, covering various industries from real estate and events, to cinematic productions. Most of our drone pilots have also been flying drones recreationally for ten years and more.
  • Are you insured for drone-related accidents or damages?
Yes, we carry comprehensive liability insurance to cover any potential accidents.
  • What kind of camera quality can I expect from your drone footage?
We shoot in stunning 4K and even 6K resolution, delivering crisp and detailed footage that enhances any project.
  • What types of drones do you use?
We use high-quality, cinematic drones, including the DJI Inspire 2 and the Mavic 3 Cine, equipped with industry-leading cameras to capture stunning aerial footage.
  • Do you shoot rain, hail or shine?
No, we don't. If the weather’s looking dicey as we approach shoot day, we’ll keep a close eye on it and give you at least 24 hours’ notice if we need to hit pause and reschedule. Your safety and the quality of the footage are always our top priorities.
  • How long can your drones stay in the air during a shoot?
Our drones can fly for approximately 25-30 minutes per battery, and we carry multiple batteries with portable chargers to ensure flight time is never an obstacle.
  • How far in advance do I need to book a drone shoot?
It depends on the type of drone shoot. For drone shoots that are not in a restricted area, we may be able to film the next day (pending availability). For drone shoots in restricted areas or that have special requirements, we would need to apply for a CASA Area Approval before shooting. This takes a minimum of 30 days to process. **CASA is the Civil Aviation Safety Authority – an Australian government body responsible for the regulation and safety oversight of Australia's civil aviation.**
  • Are there any location restrictions or regulations for drone flights?
For recreational drone pilots, yes, there are no-fly zones. However, our drone pilots are licensed to fly outside of these restrictions with individual flight approvals (called area approvals) from CASA for each project. We handle all the permits and always make sure we’re flying within the rules. If you already know the location where you'd like to film and want to check in advance if permits would be required to film, you can visit CASA's OpenSky website here. (Just be sure to change the setting from 'Recreational' to 'Commercial Excluded' for non-restricted areas or 'ReOC' for restricted areas). Or reach out if you have any queries - we'd be happy to help. **CASA is the Civil Aviation Safety Authority – an Australian government body responsible for the regulation and safety oversight of Australia's civil aviation.**
  • What are your rates for drone videography services?
Our rates are very competitive and while we genuinely wish we could have fixed rates, like any creative project with different variables, rates are tailored to the specifics of your project. We’d be happy to provide a detailed quote after we have an idea of what you’re looking to achieve.
  • How do you handle privacy concerns when shooting in public spaces?
We take privacy seriously and always follow all local regulations. We’re happy to discuss any concerns you might have before the shoot.
  • Can you provide live drone footage during an event?
Yes, we can stream live drone footage, which is perfect for events or live broadcasts. Keep in mind, filming in populated areas requires a minimum of 30 days for us to receive approval from CASA for the flight, which is a requirement prior to filming. Just let us know your requirements, and we’ll set it up. **CASA is the Civil Aviation Safety Authority – an Australian government body responsible for the regulation and safety oversight of Australia's civil aviation.**
